?Missing a Note? shows how the condition of Alzheimer?scan affect relationships and day-to-day interactions with people suffering fromits early symptoms, and the filmmakers behind the production have been seekingto educate young audiences about its effects on older generations.
Darcy Jacobs, who plays Molly in thefilm, was recently praised andreceived the Best Young Actress award at the Birmingham Film Festival, aprominent British film festival. And thanks to the acclaim from reviewers andthe interest in the film, the young actressis set for a big career inHollywood.
The film also received a UK theatrical distribution in Everyman Cinemas, introducing the short film ahead of screenings for ?Downton Abbey.? This allowed the short film to make an even biggerimpact, and reach a national audience.
